Coral Moves into Mining

Coral Innovations is excited by their recent entry into organic recovery in mining applications. Coral is able to not only capture but recover valuable organics critical to solvent exchange and electrowinning (SXEW) applications. The SXEW process is used in the mining of several commodity metals, from copper to gold.

Coral's deployment of a specialty OleoSorb™ sorbent in these applications has the potential to save mining sites millions of dollars annually in recapture and reuse of these critical organics. Once captured, Coral's unique nanotechnology formulation not only allows for recovery, but also minimizes the loss of organics and improves the organic health. This leads to faster kinetics and superior performance of the organic in recycled applications.
