Coral Innovations Co-Founder Vinayak P Dravid attends ROADMAP summit

Coral Innovations Co-Founder Vinayak P Dravid attends ROADMAP summit. Vinayak P Dravid, Co-Founder of Coral Innovations, spoke at the inaugural ROADMAP Summit, a landmark event hosted by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Economic Development Administration (EDA). This summit brought together leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the U.S. to discuss historic federal investments in place-based innovation aimed at strengthening U.S. competitiveness in science and technology.

Coral Innovations was proud to attend the summit as part of the Great Lakes Water Innovation Engine (Great Lakes ReNEW) program under NSF. The Great Lakes ReNEW initiative is focused on creating innovative methods to extract valuable minerals and toxic forever-chemicals from wastewater, directly addressing environmental and economic injustices in the region. In a world of increasing water and resource scarcity, 'waste' has no place. This highlights the importance of such efforts for communities facing significant environmental challenges.

During the summit, Vinayak P Dravid presented Coral Innovations. Coral is harnessing cutting-edge clean tech solutions to tackle some of the most pressing pollution challenges facing industries today. Founded by Prof. Vinayak Dravid and Dr. Vikas Nandwana Coral Innovations is committed to innovation and sustainability.

Coral’s proprietary technology leverages multi-functional nanostructures to deliver cost-efficient, environmentally friendly solutions for pollution remediation. With approvals from the U.S. EPA and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Coral’s technology addresses critical pollution issues, including oil spills, heavy metal contamination, and excess nutrients.
